The list is open to the circulation and discussion of working papers and to the debate of current issues in the field. Book, journal, and article reviews are as welcome as calls for papers and conference and workshop announcements. Although this list is established to facilitate the British research community, it is by all means not limited to scholars and practitioners in the UK. There is no specific academic focus for debate, and there are no limits on discussion topics either provided they fall within the defined theme of the Baltic-Studies list and comply with usage guidelines. The list has been set up to facilitate discussion on the Baltic States between and amongst scholars and practitioners in many different fields of research, both in terms of scholarship and teaching. In particular, this mailing list encourages the exchange of issues related to such topics as politics, foreign policy, security studies, society, culture, history, geography and so on. |
