Who does JISC Digital Media help?

As a JISC Advance service, we are here to support the UK's Further and Higher education community. We also support providers of work based learning and adult community learning, as well as those involved with business and community engagement (BCE). With the exception of Training and Consultancy, use of all the services is free for staff working in such institutions. However, there are instances when people in this sector require more support for digitisation activity than can be provided by the Helpdesk and Advice documents. In such cases, it may be appropriate to use JISC Digital Media's consultancy service.

We are also able to provide some limited support to those from the cultural heritage and NHS sectors. This support will be through the Helpdesk service, where we will endeavour to answer small-scale questions quickly. Members of these communities are also very welcome to read our advice documents or book on JISC Digital Media training courses. For ongoing support it may be more suitable for organisations to use the consultancy service.
